Leather Strap Care, The Vault Standard

A leather strap should age, not deteriorate.

Wear is expected. Neglect is not.

Leather responds to use, air, and time. After wear, allow the strap to rest and dry naturally. Never store it damp. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, excessive heat, or direct sunlight. If the strap becomes wet, remove it from the watch and let it dry flat never force it with heat.

Cleaning should be minimal. A soft, dry cloth is sufficient for regular care. Condition sparingly, and only when the leather shows signs of dryness never to add shine, only to preserve suppleness.

Rotation is not indulgence. It is discipline.
A rested strap lasts longer, ages better, and remains structurally sound.

Leather rewards restraint.
